Based on the request from ver.di, we developed a comprehensive campaign project. We devised the slogan, developed the design and created an interactive website that encourages participation and highlights the strength of the community. This was complemented by digital modules such as Word and PowerPoint templates in Canva, as well as physical materials for campaigns and events – ranging from facilitation cards and Post-its to specially designed cardboard stools.

A design that makes cohesion visible.

Each round of collective bargaining has its own character, and this is precisely what is reflected in the design. The individual colours used for each round ensure recognisability and give each its own distinct profile. At the same time, a striking yellow ties the entire campaign together. Inspired by high-visibility vests, it symbolises visibility, commitment and the collective bargaining process, making it clear at a glance what the campaign is all about.

To complement this, we have developed our own set of illustrations and icons. Together with the style guide, this ensures a distinctive look that is consistent across all formats.

The website is the campaign’s central hub.

It’s clear from the homepage that this is all about participation. The slogan ‘With you’ guides users straight to the various collective bargaining rounds and makes participation simple and intuitive.

On the individual pages, a variety of testimonials convey a sense of approachability and personality. The different faces represent the respective areas and make it clear that there are real people behind every round of collective bargaining. In the ‘Voices from the collective bargaining round’ section, the employees themselves have their say. Through photos and personal quotes, they talk about their experiences, expectations and commitment.

To ensure that the current status of the pay negotiations remains visible at all times, we developed interactive milestones. Past stages recede discreetly into the background, whilst the focus remains on the current steps. Complementary countdowns draw attention and dynamically guide the campaign through the individual phases. FAQ sections provide quick answers to important questions, and leaflets and news pages are available in the downloads section.

Engagement turns into action.

What makes the campaign special is, above all, its authenticity. Much of the content, messages and ideas come directly from ver.di’s volunteers and active members. We have taken these ideas and translated them into a visual and linguistic identity that appeals to people and brings them together.

This is how a campaign came about that informs, motivates and highlights participation. It shows that successful collective bargaining is always a collaborative effort and that change happens when people act together. That is exactly what ‘Mit dir’ stands for.
