In itself, equal pay is an easy concept to understand: if two people do the same job, they should get the same pay. In the reality of German companies, however, this simple principle has unfortunately not yet arrived everywhere. Changing this situation, closing the gender pay gap and establishing a transparent, fair remuneration structure is the goal of the new corporate programme of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ).

Contents also available in easy language.

Together with the consulting firm Ramboll Management Consulting, wegewerk was commissioned to implement the programme's website. The website is particularly convincing due to its clear navigation structure with clearly arranged topic pages and high accessibility: information on the programme's goals as well as an explanation of how the website works can be accessed in easy language as well as in sign language.

Separate competition section.

Especially for the "German Equal Pay Award" organised by the BMFSFJ, the website also has a protected competition area where companies can register to participate and edit their submissions. wegewerk supervised the technical implementation of the project, as well as parts of the concept and screen design according to Ramboll's specifications.
